DHAKA: Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has canceled the Internet Service Provider (ISP) licence of Bangla Phone Limited for violating licencing conditions.
The Commission issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (Sep 19).
According to the notice, the ISP license of Bangle Phone expired in October 2016. However, the company continues to provide Nationwide Telecommunications Transmission Network (NTTN) service but did not paid due taxes. That is why BTRC cancelled it license.
Moreover, an enforcement team of BTRC went to Bangle Phone’s office in city’s Gulshan area and seal off its equipments and apparatus.
