The death toll in Monday’s bus-leguna collision in Belabo upazila of Narsingdi has rose to 11. 

7 others were injured. Conditions of a few of them are critical.

The accident occurred around 8:30pm. All the deceased were passengers of the leguna (local human hauler).

The injured were admitted to various hospitals in Bhairab and Narsingdi.

Identities of any of the deceased and injured couldn’t be known yet.

Bhairab Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Taifikur Rahman confirmed the matter.

Preparations are underway to file a case over the accident.
