DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday (August 19) started interrogating two former managing directors of Barapukuria Coalmine, over disappearance of coals worth Tk 230 crores.
The ex MDs—Engr Kamruzzaman and Mahbubur Rahman arrived at the ACC Office in Segunbagicha, around 10am.
ACC Deputy Director Md Shamsul Alam began interrogating the duo at 10:30am.
However, ACC is quizzing 32 officials of Barapukuria Coalmine over the lose of some 1,44,644 metric tonnes of coals from the state-owned coalmine in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur.
