DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Principal Secretary Nojibur Rahman started visiting several points of the capital to inspect the measures taken for ensuring safe traffic.

He led a team while visiting various city points stretching from Uttara to Gulistan, Saturday (August 18) morning. 

Nojibur Rahman also exchanged his views with Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon.

“The problems we have detected in different points beginning from Uttara, will be placed in a meeting,” Aziar Rahman, DSCC Regional Executive Officer (region-5), told Banglanews.

However, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) issued a set of directives to be taken up for ensuring road safety in the capital city.

The directives came from a meeting of PMO’s Governance Innovation Unit (GIU) on traffic system in Dhaka city, chaired by Nojibur Rahman, held at the PMO on Thursday (August 17).
