MADHUPUR (TANGAIL): An underage biker and his pillion were killed after the bike that they rode crashed into a road side tree in Amtali Bazar area in Madhupur upazila of Tangail on Saturday (July 21).

The deceased were identified as Arif, 15, son of one Mojibur Rahman of Ashra village and Sajib, 14, son of one Suruj Mia of the same village. Both of them were class eight students of separate school and madrassa.

An eyewitness Anwar Hossain said Arif was killed on the spot as the motorbike slipped from road and hit a roadside tree. Sajib died later while undergoing treatment in Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital. 

Madhupur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Safiqul Islam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
