GAZIPUR: Police recovered the slit-throat bodies of a woman, her daughter and the hanging body of her husband from a house in Hydorabad area of Gazipur City Corporation on Thursday noon (July 19).

The deceased were identified as Kamal Hossain, 40 son of one Abul Hashem of Hydorabad area and his wife Nazma Begum, 35 and their daughter Sanzida Kamal alias Rimi, 18, first year student of Uttara Adhunik Medical College. 

Joydebpur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Aminul Islam said deceased Kamal’s sister-in-law first discovered the hanging body. Then other relatives came forward and found two more slit-throat bodies lying on the floor of the room. 

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent them to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital. It is being suspected that Kamal killed his wife and daughter first and then committed suicide, the OC added.
