DHAKA: A man was killed as a truck rammed him in Shahjadpur of Gulshan in the capital city early Sunday (July 15).

The deceased was identified as Abdul Quader, 54.

Quoting the deceased’s family, Gulshan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Bakar Siddique told Banglanews that a truck rammed Quader while he was returning home after performing Fazr prayer, in Pragati Sarani area of Gulshan, at early hours in the morning. He died on the spot.

Quader was a resident of Shahjadpur area, said the OC.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), for an autopsy, added the OC.
