CHAPAINAWABGANJ: An alleged drug peddler was killed in a “gunfight” with police in Shibganj upazila of the district on Monday (June 25).

Drug dealers opened fire at police triggering a gun battle between them. At one stage, drug peddlers fled the spot. Later, 2 bodies, found at the site, were brought to the hospital. A police official donated blood to Kaiyum, as he was bleeding excessively, said Mojahidul Islam, superintendent of police in Chapainawabganj.
