DHAKA: Ruling Awami League will accord mass reception on July 22 to its chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her leadership and achievement in uplifting the nation, launching country’s first satellite and for being conferred with Doctor of Literature (DLitt) degree from Kazi Nazrul University (KNU) of India and global women's leadership award in Australia.

The reception program was originally scheduled to be held on July 7, but it has been deferred to July 21.

AL issued a press release, signed by office secretary Abdus Sobhan, stating that the program will be held at 3:00pm at Suhrawardy Udyan on July 21. 

The press release also announced the programs on AL’s founding anniversary that falls on June 23.
