DHAKA: Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been asked to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no three as clouds formed over the Bay of Bengal and coastal areas. 

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the shore and proceed with caution until further notice.

In addition, fishermen are advised not to sail towards deep sea.

Heavy to excessive rainfall is likely in Sylhet, Barishal, and Chattogram. 

Besides, meteorologists also fear landslides in hilly areas of Chattogram. 

The highest temperature in Jessore was recorded 37.4 degree Celsius. Rains will continue with gusty winds throughout the day.
