DHAKA: A Dhaka court has rejected bail petitions of the two bus drivers for the third time in a case filed over the death of Titumir College student Rajib Hossain following an accident.

Lawyer Helal Uddin Patwari pleaded for bail on Thursday (May 24).

During the hearing, he said in court,” The section of the case is qualified for bail. It is the rights of convicts to get bail according to section. If bail is not given then the law is in violation.”

“The High Court ordered the owners to pay the victim’s family compensation, not the convicts,” he also said.

Shahbagh Police Station GRO Mahmudur Rahman moved against the bail.
