DHAKA: A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has fined Tk 1 lakh to KFC restaurant in city’s Dhanmondi area for using unfiltered water in its kitchen works.

The mobile court led by RAB executive magistrate Sarwar Alam conducted the drive on Wednesday noon (May 23).

Sarwar Alam said the KFC outlet of Dhanmondi has been using unfiltered water and we have found that their filter is not working and foods are being cooked with unsafe water.
