5 kg gold seized at Ctg airport

CHATTOGRAM: Customs officials seized 5 kg 300 grams of gold, worth approximately 2.5 crore, from the toilet of a flight coming from Jeddah to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.

Assistant Commissioner (Customs) Uttam Datta told Banglanews that a flight of BG-136 landed at the airport around 12:45 pm on Saturday (May 19).

The gold was recovered without owners, said Uttam Datta.
