RAJSHAHI: A suspected drug dealer was killed in a shootout with the members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Rajshahi town early Thursday (May 17).

The deceased was identified as Abul Hasan alias Hasan.

Huge phensedyl syrups including firearms were recovered from the spot. 

RAB-5 Commanding Officer Lt Col Mahabub Alam told Banglanews that the shootout took place at Kashiadanga area under ward no-9 of the town.

Details will be informed later, he added.
