HABIGANJ: Three people including two farmers were killed in separate lightning strike incident in Habiganj on Sunday afternoon (April 22).

The deceased were identified as Nuful Mia, 45, son of Kadir Mia of Sajangram, Apon Mia, 35, son of one Delwar Hossain of the same village and Moin Uddin, 12, son of Full Mia of Hiala Aglabari village.

Lakhai police station officer-in-charge (OC) Nurul Islam told Banglanews the two farmers- Nuful and Apan- were cropping paddy in the field when lightning stroke them. On the other hand, Moin was playing in a field when he got struck by lightning.
