BENAPOLE (JESSORE): Three expatriate Bangladeshis were killed while working in a building in Johor Bahru city of Malaysia Monday (April 9).

The deceased were identified as Toriqul Islam Toriq, 32 from Benapole area, Azmin Hossain, 26, from Sharsha and Salahuddin, 42, from Jhikargacha upazilas of Jashore. 

Relatives of the deceased said that the trio were working at a 50-storey under-construction building of TOIC Company in Forest City of Johor Bahru, in the afternoon.

They died on the spot while working on the 32nd floor, as a lift torn off around 5:00pm.  

Sharsha Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Pulak Kumar Mondal visited the victims’ house, on information Tuesday (April 10).
