BARISAL: A man and his 10-year-old son were killed as a tractor they were riding capsized at Madhabpasha in Babuganj upazila of Barisal on Friday afternoon (March 23).

The deceased were identified as Hanif Fakir, 35, hailed from Madhabpasha area and his son Sabbir, a sixth grade student of Mdhabpasha High School.

Deceased’s relatives told Banglanews that the accident happened around 4:00pm while the duo was returning home on a tractor and it overturned on the road killing Hanif on the spot. Sabbir was rushed to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where on-duty physician declared him dead. 

Barisal airport police station officer-in-charge (OC) Anwar Hossain said the bodies were kept in Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
