DHAKA: Bangladesh’s only public sector amusement park for children in Shahbagh of Dhaka will be renamed soon.

“The park will be named as ‘Shishu Park’, dropping the current name ‘Shaheed Zia Shishu Park’”, said Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque Wednesday (March 21).  

The minister was addressing a press briefing, organized marking March 25 as Genocide Day. 

The nameplate of the park will be replaced by a new one, within a week, the minister said further.
