FENI: Three persons were killed and three others injured as a train hit a covered van in Barahipur area of Feni municipality town Wednesday (March 21).

The accident happened around 4:30am.

The deceased couldn’t be identified immediately.

Feni railway police outpost in-charge Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdul Alim told Banglanews that a Chittagong-bound train of Turna Nishita Express from Dhaka rammed a covered van in Barahipur rail crossing, leaving three persons spot-dead and three others injured. 

The injured were sent to Feni Adhunik Sadar Hospital, he added.
