SHARIATPUR: Two sisters were burnt to death at Shibshen village in Bhedarganj upazila of Shariatpur on Sunday afternoon (March 18).

The victims were identified as Mafia Khatun, 7, and his sister Asma Khatun, 5, daughters of Manir Sarkar, hailed from the village. 

Sakhipur police station officer-in-charge (OC) AKM Manjurul Huq told Banglanews that both kids died in a fire that reportedly broke out in the kitchen. Moreover, four houses were burned down in the fire. The matter is being investigated.
