MOULVIBAZAR: Rail communication between Sylhet and other parts of the country suspended as a train of Upaban Express derailed in Moulvibazar early Friday (February 23).

This disruption took place near Satgaon crossing in Srimongol at around 01:00am.

Bangladesh Railway (BR) Sylhet Divisional Assistant Engineer Mujibur Rahman told Banglanews that 11 bogies of the train derailed. Efforts are underway to restore the rail communication.
