JHENAIDAH:  A mobile court has fined 26 institutions in Jhenaidah town for not hoisting the national flag according to the rules.

The mobile court led by Additional District Magistrate Asaduzzaman fined while conducting drives in the town on Wednesday (February 21).

According to the rules, the national flag shall be flown half-mast on February 21, the International Mother Language Day.

However, many institutions did not obey the rule. On information, mobile court conducted the raid.
 
At that time, a total of 26 institutions on HSS Road, Sher-e-Bangla Road, KP Basu Road and Agni Road of Jenaidah town were fined Tk 8,600.
