DHAKA: Motaleb Hossain, personal secretary of Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, has been missing since Saturday (January 20).

The matter came in the light on Sunday (January 21). Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hazaribagh Police Station Meer Alimuzzaman confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.  

The OC said that the family of missing Motaleb Hossain filed a general diary (GD) in this connection with the Hazaribagh Police Station on Saturday night.

According to the GD statement, the employee of the education ministry went missing from Bosila Bridge area in the afternoon on Saturday when he was staying at his under-construction building there.

Hailing from Jhalokati, Motaleb Hossain lives in Government Staff Quarter at Green Road area in the city.

Earlier on January 19, another employee of the ministry went missing. Nasir Uddin, an upper division assistant, is still traceless.
