GAZIPUR: A fire broke out at the factory of Polybag Manufacturing Company Limited in Naojor area of Gazipur on Tuesday (December 12).

The fire ensued at around 6:30am.

The fire, however, was tamed after half an hours of frantic efforts by the factory’s own management.

The HR Compliance Manager of the factory Md. Enamul Haque Hawladar said the fire originated from a power control device of heating machine at the factory.

Some items including metal buttons, zipper, and chemicals substances were damaged in the fire.

The amount of loss couldn’t be measured immediately.
