DHAKA: The gazette notification on the disciplinary rules of the lower court judges published.

Law minister Anisul Huq on Monday disclosed the matter to the reporters after a program held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center.

There was no conflict between executive and judiciary and there is no conflict still. A crisis was created for the political ambition of a person (Justice SK Sinha). And it was solved with the removal of the person. So the gazette notification has been published today,” he added.

The minister attended the concluding ceremony of a 2-day conference marking the Human Rights Day.

The Supreme Court Appellate Division bench led by Acting Chief Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah on Sunday (December 10) set the deadline December 13 to the government for issuing a gazette notification.

Final draft of the gazette earlier sent to the office of the president on Thursday (December 7).

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam moved for the state in the hearing.

However, following a verdict in a case known as ‘Masdar Hossain Case’ in 1999, the state was given instructions to introduce the gazette.

The state side was earlier granted times in several occasions to publish the gazette.
