PATUAKHALI: Police on Friday (November 24) arrested a man and his mother after a housewife committed suicide at Rangabali upazila in Patuakhali.  

The arrestees are- Rasel Sarder, son of Rafique Sarder of Baishdia village of the upazila, and his mother Bhanu Bibi.

Rasel’s wife Ratna Begum, 25, committed suicide on Thursday night (November 23) following quarrel with her husband.

Later, Ratna’s father Monir Shikder filed a case with Rangabali police station accusing Rasel, his mother and sister and several others.
