DHAKA: A private bank employee died after falling from the roof a three-storied building in city’s Mohammadpur area on Thursday (November 23).
Doctors of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) pronounced him dead at 12:30 pm.
The deceased was identified as Kajol Hossain, 30, son of Ahsan Ali, from Chandrabil village of Chatmohar upazila in Pabna. He was an office assistant of a private bank in Motijheel. He was a resident of Mohammadpur Sat Masjid area.
Shila Akther, wife of the deceased, told Banglanews that her husband was going through pressure regarding a bank issue for the last two weeks. Anxiety engulfed him even at home. He didn’t agree to leave it despite suggestions.
Coming outside, after hearing a loud noise, Kalol was found lying on the ground at around 8:00 am.
He was taken to Mohammadpur City Hospital in a gravely injured state. Later, he was transferred to DMCH.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Bacchu Miah at DMCH police camp told Banglanews that the body was kept for post-mortem examination.
