DHAKA: Vehicle movements in Dhaka cantonment have been restricted for Nov 21 to mark the Armed Forces Day.

Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) issued a press release in this regard on Friday (Nov 17).

Drivers are requested to avoid the Cantonment area from 7:00am to 10:00am and 12:00pm to 8:00pm in that day.

Only residents of the Cantonment area and invited guests will be allowed to enter using the main road from Shaheed Jahangir Gate to Staff Road.

The release also mentioned an apology from the Armed forces Division for the inconvenience of traffic.

On the Armed Forces day, the invited guests (officers serving in the armed forces and civilians) were asked to present at the Senakunja Reception Centre within 3:00pm.
