DHAKA: The cabinet has approved the draft of “Sheikh Hasian National Youth Development Institute Act, 2017.”

The approval was given at a regular cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon on Monday (October 23).

After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam informed reporters at the secretariat.

The Cabinet Secretary said that the functions of the institute include: training of youth, syllabus making, and academic recognition. 
 
The executive council has been proposed for the management of the council, the Cabinet Secretary added.
