DHAKA: Police detained eight members of a robber gang from Badamtoli area of old parts of Dhaka city Wednesday (October 18).

Besides, a boat and Tk20 lakh were seized from their possession.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Commissioner (DC) Masudur Rahman said that Kotowali thana police nabbed the robbers at the night. 

Details will be informed at a press briefing Thursday (October 19), he added.
