DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) has approved ten development projects involving Tk 5,180 crore.

The approval came from an ECNEC meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the NEC conference room in city’s Sheer-e-Bangla Nagar on Wednesday (Sep 13).

Of the 5,180 crore, the government will provide 4,462 crore and the rest will come from financial aids.

After the meeting, Planning minister AHM Mustafa Kamal told reporters that the approved 10 projects includes rural infrastructure development, social development, roads and highways development, rehabilitation, sanitation projects etc.
