CHITTAGONG: Two people were killed in a road crash as a bus rammed their motorcycle on Akhtaruzzaman flyover in Muradnagar area of Chittagong on Friday afternoon (Sep 8).

One of the deceased was identified as Mohammad Rukon, 24, a student of Premier University, while the identity of another could not be known till filling this report.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukdar of District Medical Police-1 told Banglanews that a Chittagong-bound Desh Paribahan bus from Cox’s Bazar hit the running motorcycle on the flyover around 3:00pm. One of the riders crushed under the bus instantly and another fall off the flyover.  

They were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where on-duty doctors pronounced them dead on arrival, he added.
