DHAKA: State Minister for Textile and Jute Mirza Azam said that National Textile Act 2017 is going to get cabinet approval in the next session of the national parliament.
He was addressing the maiden meeting of the advisory committee for Textile Policy 2017, at the secretariat Sunday (August 27).
“The economy of the country has been sustaining relying upon the textiles sector since ‘80s. Therefore, initiatives have been taken to formulate the law, with a view to drive this important sector of the national economy forward further.
However, all the problems related to the textiles sector once the law is passed, added Mirza Azam.
