DINAJPUR: Police detained at least 107 people, including 33 drug dealers, in special drives conducted in different areas of Dinajpur district from Monday night (July 24) to Tuesday morning (July 25).       

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Dinajpur Police Control room Md. Harunur Rashid told Banglanews that 167 pieces of Yaba tablets, 28 bottles of Phensidyl syrup, 5 bottles of coffidil syrup, 30 liters of smuggled alcohol, and 1 kg of 200 grams of hemp were seized from the drug dealers.  

A total of 30 cases were filed against the drug dealers under the Narcotics Control Act, the ASI said.

The detainees will be sent to the court following necessary process.
