DHAKA: The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations 2017 were published Sunday (July 23) with an average pass percentage of 68.91.
A total of 37,726 students scored GPA 5 among around 1.16 million appeared in the exams. From eight general education boards 66.84pc have passed, while from madrasa 77.20pc and from technical board 81.33pc.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally at Ganabhaban at 10am. Chairmen of all the Education Boards accompanied the minister.
Nurul Islam Nahid will formally publish the results through a press conference at the secretariat, at 01:00pm.
The results would be available at all examination centres, websites of education boards and through mobile phone short message services (SMS).
