CHITTAGONG: Former Superintendent of Police (SP) Babul Akter appeared at Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) office for the second time in connection with the murder of his wife Mitu.

Babul appeared at CMP around 3:45pm Tuesday (July 11).

The investigation officer of the case and additional deputy commissioner of Police (North) Mohammad Kamruzzaman said Babul was quizzed regarding some information related to the case. He came for the sake of investigation.
 
Earlier on December 15, he was quizzed by the investigation officer of the case for two and a half hours.

On June 5 last year, Babul’s wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, 30, was shot dead by three attackers at GEC intersection of Chittagong city.
