MOULVIBAZAR: Police detained two high school students from Kulaura of Molvibazar in connection with an explosion in the area Monday (July 10).

Kulaura Police Station Officer-In-Charge (OC) Shamim Musa told Banglanews on Tuesday (July 11) that they detained Auhiduzzaman Jakir, 15, a ninth-grader and Nurul Islam Quashem, 16, a tenth-grader at Kanihati Multilateral High School, for interrogating over an explosion earlier in the area.  

Locals and police sources said that, on July 6, loud sounds spread panic among the villagers as an explosion were conducted in Hazipur union of Kulaura. 

OC Shamim Musa further said that the two boys were later quizzed separately on Monday night over the blast.
