DHAKA: An RMG worker named Shanta, 20, was killed after a moving train hit her at Tejgoan area in the city on Thursday (May 25).

The accident took place at about 1:00 pm on the rail track when Shanta was going to her residence at Tejgaon from her working place to take lunch.  

The moving train hit Shanta from the back side, leaving her sever injured. The pedestrians rescued her and sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Shanta succumbed to her injuries in the DMCH at about 6:00 pm.
