BOGRA: Police recovered the hanging body of a schoolgirl at Dhunat upazila in Bogra on Saturday (April 22).

The deceased was identified as Taslima Nasreen, 16, daughter of Solaiman Hossain of Sonargoan village under Chikshi union of the upazila.

Taslima was an appeared student of SSC examination from Adarsha School at Dhunat. She got married to Chittagong University student Jahangir Alam last year.

On information, police recovered Taslima’s body hanging from a tree in Sonargoan Eidgah at about 2:00 pm.  

Taslima had lived with her father. She went to her husband’s home on April 15. She went into missing from the husband’s home on that night.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhunat police station Farukul Islam told Banglanews that the body was sent for autopsy.
