DHAKA: The High Court clears way for Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan for acting in his three films, relaxing a bar imposed by a film society alliance.

A High Court bench of Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice AKM Zahirul Haque stayed a portion of a notice issued by the film society alliance led by Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samiti in this regard.

The bench came up with the decision after hearing a writ petition filed by Shapla Media, the production house for the three films.

The three films meanwhile signed by Shakib Khan are-- 'Ami Neta Hobo', 'Mamla Hamla Jhamela', and 'Kotha Diye Keu Kotha Rakhe Na.’

Shooting for one of the films will kick-off on July 25.

On July 18, ‘Bangladesh Cholochhitro Paribar’, an alliance of 18 organizations of film artists and directors issued a notice declaring Shakib Khan ‘persona non grata’ and requesting all film organization not to work with him.
