DSHE DG repeals transfer orders made by predecessor

DHAKA: The newly-appointed Director General (DG) Prof Mahabubur Rahman of Directorate of Secondary & Higher Education (DSHE) cancelled transfer orders for some of the employees earlier issued by his predecessor.

An official order signed by the DSHE Assistant Director Shakhawat Hossain Biswas on Monday (January 8) said that the transfer orders for as many as 15 teachers which were issued on January 4 have been cancelled.

The order further said that the transferred teachers will be restored in their previous workplaces.

DG Prof Mahabubur Rahman said that he enforced the move as the transfer orders made from December 26 to January 4 have created controversies.

Therefore, all the teachers and other officials who were given transfer notices in that time, will be restored in their previous workplaces, he added.

However, earlier on Sunday (January 7), Prof SM Wahiduzzaman was replaced Md Mahabubur Rahman following an order made by the Chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education-Dhaka.
