CU students asked to vacate halls for ‘repair work’

CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY: Authority of Chittagong University (CU) asked the students to vacate the dormitories by June, 9.

The authority issued an urgent notice saying that no student can stay in the dorms till July 4, for almost 25 days.

The notice also said that no shuttle or demu train will move in that time, in the university route.

Contacted, CU Proctor M Ajgor Ali Chowdhury told Banglanews that some rooms of the dormitories should be mended.

Therefore, students were asked for not staying there, in the period of repairing.

However, Ajgor Ali further said that university trains will remain suspended in that time.
