Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View observed the holy month of Ramadan with a local orphanage recently.
  
Ramadan is observed by Muslims as a "month of blessing" marked by prayer, fasting, and charity. 

In promoting the culture of supporting the local communities, Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View hosted a special Iftar gathering for children from a local orphanage at the Grand Ballroom ‘Mezbaan’ on Wednesday (Jun 7).

Joined by General manager Robin Edwards, Managing director Brigadier General (Retd) Humayun Bakht and the hotel’s executive team, the event saw children from the orphanage enjoying Iftar, the evening meal when Muslims break their fast at sunset.

Treated as VIP guests, 45 eid outfits and 5 table and chair sets were also contributed to the orphanage. 

"It is an honor to support the local community by participating in a charitable donation to such a worthy cause exemplifying Carlson Rezidor commitment to continuous social responsibility efforts as we observe the of the Holy month of Ramadan”, said Robin Edwards, GM of Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View. 

As the event concluded, a heartening sight of smiles and cheerfulness was marked.
