NATORE: State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak said IT related trainings will be provided to two lakh youths of the country by the year 2021.

The state minister made the remarks while addressing as chief guest at a program to inaugurate a siz-storey building in Gol-E-Afroz Government College in Singra upazila of Natore on Sunday noon (October 12).

Highlighting the developmental activities of the AL government, Palak said, “Our students will have to move forward in keeping pace with the world. The country is being developed under the right leadership and real-time policy making of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh is known today as the role model of development in the world due to various initiatives taken by government. We have become a middle income country and we need skilled manpower with IT knowledge to become a developed country.”

“The government is upgrading the educational institutions of the country including construction of 28 Hi-tech parks where 20 lakh youths will be given proper IT trainings within 2021,” he added.

The state minister also urged people to vote for ‘boat’ in the upcoming general election to maintain the course of development in the country.
