DHAKA: Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by four runs in the second match to win the ODI series with one match remaining at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Earlier hosts Bangladesh opted to bat first in the game winning the toss.  Some good batting display by Tamim, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah and Mohammad Mithun helped Bangladesh to post 322 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs.

In reply, Zimbabwe scored 318 for 8 in the stipulated 50 overs. 

TS Kamunhukamwe scored 51, W Madhevere 52, Sikandar Raza 66 and DT Tiripano took 55 helping Zimbabwe stay in the race till the ball. 

Taijul Islam bagged the highest 3 wickets.  

Tamim Iqbal was adjudged player of the match for his outstanding 158 runs off 136 balls with 20 boundaries and three sixes.

Mushfiqur Rahim later scored a 50-ball 55 with six boundaries before getting dismissed in the 26th over and break 87 runs stand for the third wicket with Tamim. Mahmudullah scored 41 before getting dismissed.
