New Zealand opt to bat against Pakistan

DHAKA: New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has won toss and opted to bat against Pakistan at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Wednesday (June 26).

Earlier, wet outfield at Edgbaston delays toss of the 33rd match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

The must-win game for Pakistan is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm (Bangladesh Time)

Pakistan faced severe criticism after their loss to arch-rivals India but their 49-run win over South Africa breathed life into their campaign but the road ahead is a tough one.
