Afghanistan chasing 225 to beat India

DHAKA: Afghanistan are chasing the 225-run target set by India in their 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup match in Hampshire Bowl, Southampton on Saturday.

Earlier India had won the toss and sent Afghanistan to bowl first.

They lost eight wickers to score the total of 224 in 50 overs. India captain Virat Kohli scored 67 off 63 balls while Kedar Jadhav took 52 off 68.

Afghanistan captain Gulbadin Naiv and Mohammad Nabi took 2 wickets each.
