India set Pakistan 337-run target

DHAKA: India have set 337-run target for Pakistan in the 22nd match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Old Trafford, Manchester on Sunday (June 16).

Rohit Sharma’s 140 off 113 balls with 14 boundaries and three over boundaries helped his side score 336 for five wickets in their stipulated 50 overs. 

Captain Virat Kohli becomes the ninth player to score 11000 ODI runs, scoring 77 off 65 balls.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Amir took three wickets while Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali bagged one each.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan have won the toss and opted to bowl first against its arch rival India. 

Earlier, India have secured convincing wins over South Africa and Australia in their first two matches and their last match against New Zealand washed out.
