Bangladesh need 295 more runs with 10 wickets in Sylhet Test

DHAKA: Bangladesh needs another 295 runs to beat Zimbabwe in the Sylhet Test as the host scored 26 runs for no loss at stumps on Day-3.

Liton Das and Imrul Kayes will resume the innings on Tuesday (Nov 6) with 14 and 12 runs respectively.

Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam picked up 11 wickets for the match as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 181 in their second innings and set target 321 runs for Bangladesh.

Miraz brought the breakthrough by taking up the wicket of Brian Chari in the morning.

Taijul Islam took 5 wickets for 62 in the second innings. Mehdi Hasan Miraz took 3 for 48 and Nazmul Islam 2 for 27.

Bangladesh earlier scored 143 runs in response to Zimbabwe’s 282 in their first innings while the visitors lost all wickets to get 181 runs in the second innings.
