DHAKA: Regarding resolving the ongoing political stalemate, Communications Minister Obaidul Quader categorically said the ball is now at BNP chairperson’s court.

The ruling party lawmaker came up with the assertion in a press briefing regarding review on development works at his office on Sunday.

Mentioning the Premier’s invitation to Khaleda Zia on Saturday evening to Gono Bhaban for talks over polls-time government and dinner, Obaidul Quader said, “The government has no lack of sincerity for holding talks.”

He also expected that the opposition leader would come forward for ‘talks’ which has been initiated by Awami League president Sheikh Hasina.

In response to a question over the chance of talks after 60-hour hartal, minister said everything is possible if the sincerity is there.
